Portals

Portals

In the modern urban landscape, we move through a "connected disconnect." Portals explores this digital third space—the moment the physical world is eclipsed by the one in the palm of our hands. Spanning from the monuments of Mexico City to the neon streets of Tokyo, this monochromatic series captures the quiet withdrawal of the individual into a private sanctuary of light and glass. It is a study of a new flâneurism: observing not just the city, but how we have chosen to look away from it.
